The Droid Starfighter posed some unique construction challenges given its ability to transform between starfighter and walker configurations. After trying some more complicated designs, I settled on the current one, which is actually quite simple and results in a stable model in any of the configurations.

An added bonus is that the transformations between split wing fighter, closed wing fighter and walker can all be done quickly and easily without removing and reattaching any pieces.
